Naming Derived Classes

Question
What’s the recommended naming convention for derived classes?

Answer
The recommended convention is to use a compound name where the second part is equal to the base class’s name.

Discussion
This guideline makes it easier for developers to understand the inheritance relation with the base class. Example: The TextureBrush class name makes it clear that it inherits from Brush in the System.Drawing namespace.
