Enums with Reserved Values

Question
Should you include values that are “reserved for future use” in enums?

Answer
No. Don’t include them.

Comments
Why not? Reserved values are remnant of COM programming. A class library in the latest version of .NET can add new values when needed.

Example

// Don't do this.
public enum Colors {
    Red,
    Blue,
    Reserved
}
